SO
WE ARE
PRETTY GOOD
AT
BASKETBALL
Occasion:
April
2005, Basketball at the University of Illinois
Camera: Canon Powershot s500 Digital Elph
Author: Nellie (wiresandwaves at gmail.com)
The order is all mixed up thanks to my camera's inability to go in order of
picture shot.
Nancy Parman diligently waits in my room, as I explain that she DOES have
fantastic cheekbones. I'm serious, we were talking about cheekbones.
We go to Zorba's for dinner after swimming at the new work-out place near my
dorm.
Zorba's has delicious gyros. I love this picture, too, by the way.
Nic and Daniel.

Later, I visited this boy, and his small feline friend, Frankie.

Kristin and I, at the rioting, because we won semi-finals.
Kara, Reika, Kristin, and Val (all from my dorm except for Kristin).
People on the quad.
Rake and I.
Val, Kristin, Lauren, Rake, Kara.
Val, Rake, Kara.
Val, Rake, Kristin (FIERCE, woman! FIERCE!) and Lauren.
That police officer looks bewildered.
And my school sure does get super excited about stuff.
Another arm-stretch photoshoot. Caryn and I.
Hands in the air! Like you just do not care!
Kristin and Caryn.
At a party, after. I told Caryn to act like we're not psyched. Caryn's a happy
girl anyway.
Kelly-bo-belly and Nance-wearing-pants. They had some beer to drink,
so they were buzzing a little bit.

We weren't! But the company of my ladies Nancy, Kelly, Kristin, and Caryn
more than made up for the lackluster apartment party after semi-finals.
Kristin and I painted our nails blue and orange at her dorm in the six-pack.
FINALS WOO. In Assembly Hall, Champaign, Illinois.
Please win! Please win!
Aw, damn.
We didn't win.
