THE PHOTOLOG OF NELLIE - the weekend of 9/10-9/12/04
aka, the weekend Nellie changed her hair color and did nothing else.
If, for some reason, you find that there is a picture of yourself on this page that you do not want displayed, please just email me. (that's wiresandwaves (at) gmail.com)

all shots were taken with my fabulous canon powershot s500 5.0 mega pixel camera. it's digital elph.

Young Nellie standing in hallway, looking stylish with flouncy skirt.

The ever-fabulous Reika, friend and neighbor. This is Allen Hall, where all the hawt
artsy boys are. Mrow! We eat lunch there on Saturdays.

My salad didn't taste as good as it looked. My cheese fries did, though.

I demanded that Reika pose in an artistic manner. The numbers and gold called for it.
She didn't get any mail, though. Mail time is the best time.

I got mail! Yay!

Susan, also friend and neighbor, comes to talk.
I'm all like, "What you doin', foo?"

Susan and I high-five. That happens a lot.

Blue Powerade makes everything gooood.

The Ever-Massive Quad area of University of Illinois.
Reika and I were so bored we decided to come here
and photograph it.

Grass.

Foelinger Auditorium. Nobody ever has good classes in there.

The steps. They were structurally artistic.

The Lincoln Building. I have sociology class here.

Yes. Let us discuss the G-Sus.

Reika knew both these kids. You don't know this, but the kid with the
hat proceeded to grab green shirt's ass after I took this picture.
Sadly, I did not get the chance to capture that.

Tiny little child running through the quad.

The Student Union.

Reika!

Alison in Katie and Danielle's dorm room at the only slightly ghetto
Florida Avenue Residence Hall.

Katie!

Danielle was my favorite AP lab partner in high school, ever.

Other Katie goes to Illinois College. She came to visit.

I took the bus back to my dorm. There's a lot of construction.

So pretty. Green and red.

I hung out in my dorm room. There's mood lighting in that bitch.

Then, I had the brilliant idea of dyeing my hair red. Oh, yes.

Alas, no one wanted to come with me! But then I found Glynnis (red hair)
and Kristina, and they were all like, "YEAH! Hair dye!"

Dyeing one's hair in a bathroom shared by 30 girls is no easy task.
We managed.

The next day, I decide I still need to take more construction pictures.

Then, lying down in the grass seems like a good idea.
I fall asleep shortly after this photo was taken.

And then, I remember my hair is red! How exciting.

And that was my weekend. No boozy parties, no wild man stories. Solely the story of a girl, hair dye, and the gentle companions who decided to happen in on my days.
